Use the form below to retrieve a spectrum or set of spectra from the Library, or upload your own SpeX spectrum to visualize.

Get Lucky

Just grab any old spectrum.

Upload Spectrum

Enter the full path to the your file, which must be ascii (tab or comma delimited) or fits file with columns of wavelength, flux and (optionally) uncertainty.

Search by Name or Short Name

Names must be the SIMBAD name of the source; shortnames are in the form hhmm+ddmm, where hhmm is the Right Ascension hour and minute, +ddmm is the declination degrees and minute

Search by Observation Date

Search for data based on when they were observed, in format YYYYMMDD where YYYY = year, MM = date, DD = day

Search by Parameters (Experimental)
